11.00-16.00 Lunch cruise and visit Grand Palace.
Cruise on a luxury-style converted rice barge, the Manohra
I, with a superb Asian Lunch.
Afterwards, visit the Grand Palace, one of the most beautiful
samples of an ancient Siamese court. It used to be the residence
of the Kings of Bangkok. Here you will see palaces which
were used for different occasions: the Funeral Palaces,
the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall,
the Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha
Temple.
Evening: A special arrangement to enjoy the Loy Krathong
Festival, This is a world famous ceremony of the oldest
traditions in Thai Kingdom it has been performed for more
than eight centuries. "Loy " mean floats, Krathong
is made from fresh banana leaf as the lotus flower shape
and decorated with fresh flowers and candles made by hand.
Everyone will make it and bring to the River to float in
the water called "Loy Krathong" on the full moon
night of the twelth lunar month every year. Thai people
all over the country gather together at the River in their
vicinity to pay respect to Almighty God Who created the
River.
Imperial Orchid will provide the Krathong for every guest
who join this tour to float the Krathong as you wish.

Nov 09 BANGKOK - RIVER KWAI (B/L/D)
River Kwai is one of the interesting cities in Kanchanaburi
the westernmost
Province of Thailand. It has not only gained fame for its
strikingly beautiful landscape-characterized by impressive
waterfalls and caves, tranquil river scenery and verdant
National parks-but also for its tragic history. During World
War II Asian laborers and allied prisoners of war were forced
to build the Burma-Siam Railway through the province. The
most famous reminder of this tragedy is the "Bridge
on the River Kwai" which was immortalized in books
and the motion picture of the same name.
Nov 09 BANGKOK - RIVER KWAI (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel. In early morning we will depart
from the hotel by bus to Kanchanaburi. Visit the JEATH War
Museum to view a realistic replica of a prisoner- of- war's
living quarters containing sketches and photographs describing
life in the Camp. Continue to the War Cemetery, the final
resting place for over 6,000 allied prisoners of war, and
the World famous Bridge over the River Kwai. Enjoy a train
ride on the historic Death Railway that was constructed
by allied prisoners of war passing through strikingly beautiful
landscape. After lunch, take a long-tailed boat on the Kwai
River, passing unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery and
visit nearby ethnic Mon tribal village.
Dinner and overnight at the River Kwai Resort or at Jungle
Rafts.

RIVER KWAI - CHIANG MAI (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, visit Kaeng Lava Cave to explore
its fantastic stone formations and after lunch, head back
to Bangkok and transfer to Bangkok Airport for your flight
depart to Chiang Mai by Thai Int'l Airlines

and cultural heritage. Located in the highlands of the North.

After Breakfast at the hotel early morning join the wonderful
exiting tour 0700-1200 Elephants and Chiang Dao Excursion
to the north of Chiang Mai to visit an
elephants working site. Watch the elephants taking their
daily bath in the stream before beginning to haul timber
in the forest. You will be amazed by their strength and
clever team work. Afterwards continue via
the small village of Chiang Dao to visit the nearby caves.
Picnic lunch is taken at a local restaurant. On the way
back visit to the Ruckachati National Park and its picturesque
waterfalls. Also visit to an orchid farm.
Lunch at local restaurant and drive back to the hotel for
accommodation.

Upon arrival to Phang
Nag Bay we continue by Boat on an exciting journey through
majestic scenery of mangrove swamps and limestone cliffs
until reaching the James Bond Island of Koh Tapoo, the location
for the James Bond Film
"The Man with the Golden Gun." Afterwards, we
will enjoy a delicious lunch at the Koh Panyi Muslim Village,
which is entirely built on wooden stilts over the water.
Travelling back to Phuket, you have the
opportunily of buying souvenirs at the Native
Handicraft Centre and the worlds largest Gems Factory
(refreshments served) before going to Phuket Int'l Airport

Visit Suan Pakkard Palace, residence of the late Princess
Chumbhot of Nagara Svarg, decorated with 17th century architecture
and a collection of rare antiques representing every branch
